coronavirus COVID-19 has put tourism into free fall and we are all reeling. it’s an important moment to check in and lean on one another.
Like many of us, I’ve weathered my share of industry challenges—sudden political changes, economic downturns, natural disasters, safety and security issues, and more. I’ve learned that each is an opportunity to reassess where you are and where you want to go, to devise a plan that gets you through the rough patch and better positions your business and life for success in the future.
We got into the travel industry to live our dreams, find our tribe, explore the world, expand our minds, and have a positive impact. As we have been flying across the planet and tending to all the details for our clients, we may have lost sight of the big picture around our truest desires. When wide-reaching difficulties appear, our high-level view is often replaced with crisis management and panic.
We’ve seen time and time again that the travel industry is volatile, and even the most successful of us is affected by global issues far beyond our control. When something like COVID-19 brings tourism to a screeching halt, how do we respond?
It can be scary and overwhelming, but we have the power to choose how we react. Now is the moment to dig deep within ourselves and come together with our global tribe both for support and solutions. We owe it to those we lead, to our clients, and to ourselves to remain positive, nimble, and innovative.
It’s not always easy, but I’m here to help.
I understand what you’re going through and together we will create a road map that will guide us through this time and allow for perspective shifts to emerge that will invite curiously and creativity as to what comes next.
If you are ready to explore what’s possible, to dig deep and ready to push your boundaries, I’m excited to work with you. Let’s dive in!
